The oil cooler hoses of certain vehicles may harden, degrade and subsequently have minute cracks from heat and acid accumulated in the engine oil, due to improper material usage. If this problem is left unattended, minute cracks may progress to the point of rupture and allow the oil to leak out, and in the worst case, the engine could break.
