The oil cooler hoses of certain vehicles may harden, degrade and subsequently have minute cracks from heat and acid accumulated in the engine oil, due to improper material usage. If this problem is left unattended, minute cracks may progress to the point of rupture and allow the oil to leak out, and in the worst case, the engine could break.

RJ-2441-0

For the oil cooler hoses supplied for the countermeasure of RJ-2412-0 recall submitted on 12th November 2009, they may have a tendency of coming out of the pipes. If this problem is left unattended and the hose comes off, in the worst case, the leaked oil could come in contact with the exhaust pipe, resulting in a fire.

RJ-1914-0

(1) The engine oil cooler clamp may have been placed at a wrong position at the factory. If this problem is left unattended, the hose may separate from the connection, and in the worst case, the leaked oil might land on the exhaust pipe and catch fire. (2) The manual transmission oil cooler clamp may have been placed at a wrong position at the factory. If this problem is left unattended, the hose may separate from the connection, causing an oil leak, and in the worst case, the vehicle would stall.

RJ-1920-0

For the oil cooler for the manual transmission, the hose clamps may have been incorrectly positioned at the factory. If this problem is left unattended, the hoses may come off, in which case oil would leak and the vehicle would eventually stall.

RJ-0481-1

On certain vehicles, the cam angular sensor and the crank angular sensor are defective in manufacturing. If left unfixed, a contact failure may occur inside the sensors, in which case, the sensors could stop generating normal signals, and at worst the engine could stall while idling etc. and will not restart.

RJ-0626-0

On certain vehicles, the seating surfaces of the stud bolts are not properly installed onto the rear brake drums due to the improper processing of the drums. If left unfixed, the wheel nuts may become loose.
