The bolts that secure the water pump pulley may loosen by stress from the load of the auxiliary belt and could eventually break, causing the auxiliary belt to come off. If this happens, electricity generation and cooling will suffer, in which case, the warning lights will illuminate, and the engine will stall and fail to restart.

Correction: 
The bolts that secure the water pump pulley should be replaced with the factory approved replacement units, which have anti-loosening agent applied, and they should be tightened to the specified torque.
