Due to improper soldering on the cam angular sensor and the crank angular sensor in the engine of certain vehicles, if left unfixed, a short circuit may occur inside the sensor. As a result, the sensor may stop generating normal signals, causing unstable revolution of the engine. At worst, the engine dies during traveling, and will not restart.

The tensioner for the timing chain driving the camshaft can fail to work in coordination with the chain due to lack of durability, causing the chain to interfere with its surrounding parts and make abnormal noise.

On certain vehicles, tamping of resin material inside the engine rotary sensor is inadequate, and therefore, the solder on the circuit board can become deformed from engine heat etc., causing a short circuit. If this occurs, the sensor will fail to generate normal signals, and consequently the engine will not start, or will stall while driving and will not restart.
