On certain vehicles, the stabilizer (device used to keep the passenger compartment of a vehicle from swaying) of the rear axle shock absorber is improperly formed and secured. If left unfixed, its securing parts and the inside of the tyre may interfere, causing wear and damage to the side of the tyre, when taking a sharp turn. At worst, the tyre has burst.
