Depending on the way in which the clamp is fastened, the following measures should be taken. (1) If the clamp is secured with bolt, the bolt should be replaced with the factory approved replacement unit that includes the spring washer, and adhesive should be applied on the bolt threads. (2) If the clamp is secured with nut, the nut with flange should be replaced with the factory approved replacement unit that does not have flange, adhesive should be applied on the tap-end stud threads, and the nut should be tightened with the additional spring washer and the tap-end stud.
