On certain 4 WD vehicles, the drive pinion locknut may become loose with repetitions of starts etc., becasue of the insufficient anti-loosening processing. As a result, the drive pinion and the differential gear case may interfere, causing damage, and the vehicle may become stalled.

Water may get into the wiper motor through its vent holes due to their improper position, when a lot of water flows into the front deck (e.g. when a shower test is carried out at factory to check for water leaks) and the holes go under water level. As a result, rust may occur inside the motor, and in the worst case, electric continuity is hindered, causing inoperative wiper.
