Due to a carbon buildup within the throttle valve, the vehicle may stall. There’s a software upgrade to work around this problem. If the problem has been fixed in Japan, there will be a sticker with the code 3636 near the driver’s-side door striker.

For vehicles with muffler finishers, the muffler finisher bracket may break from vibration etc., as it does not have sufficient strength. If this problem is left unattended, in the worst case, the muffler finisher could come off, resulting in a hazard to other traffic.

For vehicles with halogen low beam lights, the direction of the light axes may be out of the specified range due to insufficient checks of the axes adjustment, and therefore, the lights may not satisfy the safety standards.

The securing mechanism used in the front impact sensors, which are to detect sudden impacts, is not appropriate, and therefore, the securing bolts may loosen in an offset collision. If this occurs, the sensors may fail to detect an impact in an offset collision, and this may cause a delay in ignition of airbags, in which case the desired performance may not be achieved.
