On certain vehicles, the nut securing the rear propeller shaft to the rear differential carrier may become loose with a repetition of starts etc., because it is not properly tightened. At worst, the shaft joint comes off, and the vehicle becomes stalled.

KJ-0236-0

The pin preventing the retainer of the parking roller rod located in the automatic transmission from coming out may crack due to its lack of strength. At worst, the pin breaks, causing the retainer to come out, and the parking function fails to operate when the gear is put into P. Note: This recall is to include more vehicles in the past recall (case number KJ-0195-0, issued on 20 November 2001).

RJ-0711-0

On certain vehicles, weight balance of the propeller shaft is not even. If left unfixed, the rear end of the shaft may warp, causing it to come off and vehicle may become stalled. At worst, the fuel tank gets damaged.

RJ-0813-0

For 2 wheel drive vehicles (excluding ones equipped with turbocharger), because the rear left wheel brake pipe is improperly secured, resonance may occur in high speed travel, causing a crack on the pipe and leading to brake fluid leakage. As a result damping force may decrease.
