For welfare vehicles whose rear floor is modified to accommodate a wheelchair (lift vehicles and vehicles with kneel down system), on some of them, the lateral rod bracket is not securely attached on the rear side member because it is inadequately welded. If left unfixed, the rear side member could crack, and in the worst case, the bracket comes off the vehicles body causing damage on the left rear tyre

Correction: 
(1) Lift vehicles without lateral rod support: The lateral rod support should be added. Also, the welded part of the lateral rod bracket should be inspected, and if the welding is found to be inadequate, the bracket should be replaced with a new one and the rear side member with crack should be repaired. (2) Lift vehicles with lateral rod support: The welded parts of the lateral rod bracket and the lateral rod support should be inspected, and if the welding is found to be inadequate, both the bracket and the support should be replaced with new ones and the rear side member with crack should be repaired. (3) Vehicles with kneel down system: The welded part of the lateral rod bracket should be inspected, and if the welding is found to be inadequate, the bracket should be replaced with a new one and the rear side member with crack should be repaired.
