The circulator in the gearbox does not have sufficient strength margin to allow for excessive power steering assist, because its structure is improper. Therefore, if steering with the tyre in contact with the curb is repeated, the circulator may get damaged, and in the worst case, steering becomes impossible.

Correction:
The power steering gearbox should be replaced with the factory approved replacement unit. Incidentally, because it takes time to supply all the factory approved replacement parts, the steering should be checked as a temporary measure for the time being. If steering does not function as well as it should, such as getting caught or being heavy, the replacement with the factory approved replacement part should be done, otherwise, the replacement should be done at later date. In addition, the vehicle owners should be warned not to operate the steering wheel while the tyre is in contact with the curb.
