On certain vehicles (GVW 25t), a crack may occur on the flange of the front hub after driven a lot on a curvy road, due to the lack of durability of the hubs. Also, a crack may occur sooner, depending on other conditions, such as vehicle maintenance and loading. If left unfixed, the crack can grow. At worst, the cracked part gets ruptured, causing the wheel to fall off. This recall is to include more vehicles in the past recall (case number RJ-1056-0, issued on 24 March 2004), after the further strength tests.

Correction:
The hubs should be replaced with the factory approved replacement units (the latest model hubs). However, it will take some time to supply all the factory approved replacement parts, therefore, as a temporary measure, the hubs should be inspected, and the ones with cracks should be replaced with the factory approved replacement parts, and the replacement for the ones with no cracks should be done at later date.
Identification:
(1) Gold sticker with a diameter of 9mm on the specified spot(*), for installing the factory approved replacement hubs. (2) Silver sticker with a diameter of 9mm on the specified spot(*), for inspecting the hubs for cracks. *: below the striker on the rear door pillar on the driver's side.
