For the low beam light (discharge lamp), water may get into the headlight control unit through the wiring, causing corrode on the circuit board, because of the improper waterproofing applied to the branch point of the wiring. At worst, this makes the headlight inoperative.

Correction:
The headlight wirings should be replaced with the factory approved replacement units. Also, the control units should be checked, and if any damage, e.g. water damage is found, that unit should be replaced with a new one.
