On certain vehicles, the joint sealing between the rubber fuel hoses and the metal fuel pipes (from and to the fuel tank) are inadequate. If left unfixed, fuel can leak from the joints, which could lead to a fire in the worst case.

Correction:
The rubber fuel hoses and the metal fuel pipes should be replaced with the factory approved replacement units. In addition, a protector should be fitted on a part of the air conditioner hose near the fuel hose.
