For front tandem axle vehicles, the brake pipe may interfere with the tyre when the vehicle with studless tyres drives over an uneven road surface while the steering wheel is turned to the max, due to its unsuitable shape. If this problem is left unattended, the rust prevention coating of the interfering area may peel off resulting in corrosion of the area, and in the worst case, the pipe could be damaged, allowing air to leak, which could result in reduced braking efficiency.
