For the gear that drives the supply pump, there is a risk that the bearing may become damaged, because the way the bearing is lubricated and the material of the bearing case are inappropriate. If the cup ring and/or the gear of the supply pump breaks and such breakage is neglected, in the worst case, the vehicle might stall and/or steering might become heavy.

RJ-2294-0

For the low-pressure fuel pipe inside the engine head cover, the bolts that secure it to the injector may loosen, in which case the fuel could leak and mix into the engine oil. If this problem is left unattended, the engine revs may rise, as the fuel mixed oil is injected into the intake pipe and burns inside the cylinders, and in the worst case, the internal engine could become damaged, leading to a fire.

RJ-2252-0

For the VGS type turbochargers of large-size trucks, the turbine vanes do not have sufficient strength, and therefore, they may break due to resonance at high revs. If this problem is left unattended, white smoke and engine output shortage might occur, which could make it impossible to drive the vehicle.

RJ-1836-0

The exhaust pipe does not have sufficient strength around the engine end flange, and therefore, it may crack due to vibration of the engine and allow exhaust gas to escape, and in the worst case, the noise level could increase.

RJ-1793-0

For vehicles with air spring suspension system, the band does not have sufficient strength to hold the fuel tank, and therefore, the fuel tank may move when it is repeatedly subjected to excessive stress caused by driving on a tough road. If this problem is left unattended, the fuel tank may interfere with the fuel filter bracket and get damaged, which in the worst case could lead to a fuel leak.

RJ-1780-0

The structure of the clip to hold the fuel injection pipe is not appropriate, and therefore, it may come off due to engine vibration etc. If this problem is left unattended, the fuel injection pipe or the flow damper (the part that controls the flow) may break, resulting in a fuel leak.

RJ-1825-0

For tank trucks, the position of the metal brackets securing the tank and the chassis frame is not appropriate, and therefore, the frame around the brackets may crack. If this problem is left unattended, the cracks may grow, and in the worst case, the frame could break and cause the vehicle to stall.

RJ-1689-0

This recall concerns the spring-type parking brake system. (1) The screws to secure the watertight caps do not have an appropriate shape, and therefore, water may enter the spring chambers, which might cause the springs to rust. If this occurs, the springs may break, and subsequently the diaphragms might be damaged, which could allow air to escape, and in the worst case, the parking brake would be activated while the vehicle is in motion.

RJ-1690-0

The clutch shaft and the operation lever are not properly welded and lack strength. If this problem is left unattended, the welded section may come off after a certain number of clutch operations, and in the worst case, a clutch operation would become impossible and the vehicle would stall. Note: This problem was reported in RJ-1600-0, submitted on 13th January 2006, but the affected vehicles were not fully accounted for, so this recall is to add some vehicles to the recall list.

If this occurs, the springs may break, and subsequently the diaphragms might be damaged, which could allow air to escape, and in the worst case, the parking brake would be activated while the vehicle is in motion.
