For the gear that drives the supply pump, there is a risk that the bearing may become damaged, because the way the bearing is lubricated and the material of the bearing case are inappropriate. If the cup ring and/or the gear of the supply pump breaks and such breakage is neglected, in the worst case, the vehicle might stall and/or steering might become heavy.

Correction: 
The bearing case should be replaced with the factory approved replacement unit. Also, if the the cup ring and/or the gear are damaged, they must be replaced with new ones.
