For the electric power steering (EPS), the combination of the material of the brush of the motor and the steering gear ratio is not appropriate. Therefore, if the steering wheel is repeatedly turned to the maximum whilst the vehicle is not in motion, excessive current may flow through the internal wiring that is for maintaining the motor rotation speed at a constant level. Consequently, there is a risk that a short circuit may occur in the wire, and this could cause the EPS warning light to illuminate and make steering heavier.

The shape of the terminals in the brake light switch is not appropriately designed, and therefore, they may not have sufficient contact with the terminals in the male connector. If this problem is left unattended, the contact surfaces of the switch terminals may wear due to vibration during traveling etc., and electrical continuity may be lost, which in the worst case could cause the brake lights and the auxiliary brake light to fail.

On certain vehicles, some welding spots securing the seat belt take-up reel are not applied for the second row right seat, and therefore, impact stress can cause the welded part to separate, in which case the seat belt fails to restrain the passenger.
