The knuckle arms should be replaced with the factory approved replacement units. Incidentally, it will take time to supply all the factory approved replacement units, and therefore as a temporary measure, the knuckle arm ball studs should be inspected for cracks, and if there are any, the replacements should be carried out, and otherwise, they should be done at later date.

Correction:
Frequent dry steering or repeated driving with frequent steering can cause the knuckle arm ball studs to crack because they do not have sufficient strength. If this problem is left unattended, in the worst case, the ball studs could break, making steering impossible.
