On certain vehicles, the turbine blades inside the engine do not have sufficient strength because they are unbalanced in manufacturing, and therefore, the blades may be damaged, bringing the power output down. If the vehicle continues to be driven in such a condition, in the worst case, the blades could break, in which case engine oil can flow from the intake pipe to the engine causing the engine revs to rise.

The serial number on the turbine should be checked, and if it is the one to be recalled, the turbine should be replaced with a non-defective one.
