CAPELLA CARGO

RJ-1428-0

On certain 4WD vehicles, the capacitor in the G-sensor circuit for ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) may allow the chemical fluid to leak after long time use. If this problem is left unattended, the fluid deposited on the IC terminal on the G-sensor circuit may cause a short circuit, resulting in sensor malfunction. If this occurs, the ABS will not function properly and therefore the braking distance could increase.

For vehicles with diesel engine, engine vibration can break the hydraulic pipe stay that is welded on the power steering oil tank due to insufficient strength of the stay. If the breakage is left unattended, in the worst case, the stay may come off with the welded part, creating a hole in the tank, and this results in oil leakage and heavier steering.

RJ-0415-2

For vehicles with diesel engine, the heat shield plug, which protects the bearing supporting the rotor of the PWS (Pressure Wave Supercharger), may break due to insufficient strength. If the breakage is left unattended, the bearing can burn out because of the lack of lubrication, stopping the rotor, which results in no air getting into the combustion chamber, and therefore, the engine stops and will not restart.

RJ-0415-3

On certain 4WD vehicles, the capacitor in the G-sensor circuit for ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) is defective in manufacturing, and therefore, the G-sensor can malfunction, and in the worst case, the braking distance could increase.
