For vehicles with twin clutch automatic transmissions, the reverse gear may fail to lock into place, even when the shift lever is placed into the R position. If this occurs and the driver doesn't know it as the shift lever indicator shows 'R', the vehicle on a downward slope may travel forward, or the vehicle may suddenly go backwards if the reverse gear naturally locks into place while the driver keeps depressing the accelerator pedal.

For certain vehicles with manual transmissions, the clip that secures the oil pressure pipe on the clutch master cylinder does not have sufficient strength, and therefore, it may be damaged from oil pressure generated by clutch operation. If this occurs and the pipe comes out, the clutch fluid would leak, which could make clutch operation impossible.
