On certain vehicles, the nut that secures the braking pedal stop adjustment nut is not properly tightened, and these nuts may loosen. If this problem is left unattended, the play of the parking brake pedal may increase, and in the worst case, the securing nut would come off, which would cause the parking brake to fail.

On certain vehicles, the DC-DC converter, which charges the alternative battery, does not have an appropriate electrical terminal, and therefore, oxide may accumulate around the caulking of the terminal and heat up leading to wire breakage, if the vehicle is driven with increased electrical load for a long time, for example when the ambient temperature is very low. If such wire breakage occurs, the alternative battery will not be charged, and in the worst case, the engine and/or the electrical motor would stop, and the vehicle would not restart.

For the electrically controlled brake system (ECB), a foreign material caught in the brake actuator can prevent the fail safe function for the event that hydraulic pressure falls from functioning, because the ECB that is defective in manufacturing does not properly control the electric pump for generating brake pressure. If this happens, the brake warning light is illuminated and the warning buzzer sounds, and 5 minutes later, the protective function of the pump is activated to stop the pump. As a result, the hydraulic pressure decreases, and braking distance increase.
