FUSO FIGHTER

RJ-1166-0

For 6x2 (2 rear axles) vehicles, the bracket securing the spring type parking brake on the rear axle does not have sufficient strength, and it may crack due to vibration during travel. If left unfixed, the bracket may break resulting in reduced parking brake efficiency. At worst, the brake chamber falls off stopping the rear axle parking brake functioning, or the air hose gets damaged causing air leakage.

RJ-1033-0

The air pipes connecting to the valve which operates the parking brake (hand control valve) and the bolt on the radiator bracket may interfere, because the space between them is insufficient. If left unfixed, the pipes may be punctured, causing air leakage. At worst, the parking brake is activated unexpectedly.

RJ-0868-0

The water and dustproof rubber boot for the wheel cylinder of the air parking brake may become deformed, failing to maintain the air-tightness, because improper lubricant was used. If left unfixed, water may get into the rubber boot, causing rust between the wheel cylinder and the piston. As a result, the parking brake does not function fully, or brake fade occurs in the main brake system.

RJ-0865-0

The shape of the welded part of the bracket for the high-pressure pipe, which is secured on the fuel injector pump, is improper. Because of this, the bracket bolt may become loose due to vibration during travel etc. and fall off. At worst, the fallen bolt lands on the starter S terminal, and a short circuit occurs at the time of engine start, resulting in a fire on the electric harness.

RJ-0734-0

The air pipes connecting to the relay valves in the vacuum brake booster are not correctly connected. If one of the pipes gets damaged, the vacuum brake boosters both for front wheels and for rear wheels will fail to function.

RJ-0651-0

The strength of the terminal of the electric switch in the engine starter is insufficient. If left unfixed, travel vibration may damage the terminal, causing engine start failure.
