For wheelchair accessible vehicles (rear slope type), the wire has a tendency to twist, so the covers that hold the wire around the pulleys may move and let the wire off the pulleys. If this happens, the wire may interfere with the covers, and at worst could snap, in which case the wheel chair would not be securely anchored.

If this happens, the wire may interfere with the covers, and at worst could snap, in which case the wheel chair would not be securely anchored. This problem was reported as RJ-2017-0 on 6th December 2007, but that recall did not cover all the affected vehicles, so this recall is to submit additional vehicle data.

For the fuel tank of certain wheelchair accessible vehicles, the check valve inside the pipe of the evaporative emissions control system may have come off, due to the improper airtightness test procedure. If the tank is filled above the recommended limit, the fuel may flow into the canister, and in the worst case, there could be a fuel leak from the canister.

On certain vehicles, the seal rings of the fuel injectors are not properly seated on the fuel delivery pipe due to improper installation of the pipe to the injectors. If left unfixed, the seal rings can crack causing fuel to leak.

The wiring between the ECU (Engine Control Unit) and the electric door mirrors is improper, and therefore, the IC in the ECU can break from noise at engine start. If this occurs, (1) it becomes impossible to control the oxygen sensor heater, which causes the engine warning light to illuminate, or (2) the injector(s) stop working, in which case the engine becomes unstable or the engine will not start.

On certain vehicles, a section of the exhaust side housing of the turbocharger does not have sufficient thickness due to the manufacturing process, and therefore, the housing can crack causing exhaust gas to leak.
