On certain vehicles, the capacitor on the audio circuit board is damaged due to the inadequate manufacturing process of the circuit. If left unfixed, the capacitor may get short-circuited, causing excessive current to flow through the speakers, and in the worst case, this could result in a fire.

For vehicles with manual transmission, the measurements of the synchronizer are improper, and therefore, moving the shift lever while the vehicle is not in motion may become impossible, as the gears are engaged though with the shift lever in the neutral position. At worst, the vehicle will not move.

For the coil of the solenoid valve that controls hydraulic pressure inside the automatic transmission, on certain vehicles, it may become disconnected due to improper tensioning if repeated heat expansion and contraction caused by temperature variation in the automatic transmission puts excessive stress on it. When this happens, the valve can no longer controls the hydraulic pressure, causing clutch slippage or gear shifting failure. At worst, the vehicle becomes stalled or moves forward in N position.

RJ-1065-2

For the flasher unit for turn signals and hazard lamps, on certain vehicles, solder on the relay terminals is insufficient. Because of this, if such a case occurs repeatedly that the relay temperature rises due to long time illumination of hazard lamps, repeated heat expansion and contraction occur in the terminal, causing a crack on the solder. This may hinder electric continuity, stopping the illumination of turn signals and hazard lamps.

On certain vehicles, the power steering hydraulic hose does not have sufficient heat shield measure. Because of this, heat degradation may occur on the hose, affected by the heat from the exhaust pipe if long hour travels at high speed or driving up on a steep etc. are repeated. If left unfixed, the hose may get damaged, causing hydraulic oil to leak, and this makes steering heavier. At worst, the hydraulic oil is spattered on the exhaust pipe, leading to a fire.

On certain vehicles with diesel engine, (1) There is a glitch in the computer program that controls an automatic particulate matter (PM) removal function of the diesel particulate filter (DPF). Because of this, that function is activated, even when manual PM removal is needed. As a result, the temperature in the DPF may rise abnormally, damaging the exhaust temperature sensor, and this may lead to an illumination of the engine warning light. At worst, the DPF gets damaged, and PM emissions may exceed the standard.

The combination of the nut and bolt securing the bracket for the flip up cargo compartment door and its door balancer (auxiliary equipment for opening and closing the door) is improper. As a result, the nut may become loose and eventually fall off, causing the bracket to come off the door. If this happens, there is a possibility that it becomes impossible to hold the door open and that it suddenly closes.

For the lock bolt securing the lower spare tyre carrier, vibration during travel may break it loose, because of insufficient strength of the tyre carrier, and also because of improper instruction for tightening the lock bolt. At worst, the lower spare tyre carrier breaks, causing the spare tyre to fall off.
