For the pipe that connects the main and sub fuel tanks of certain 4WD vehicles, the rubber hoses at the ends of the pipe may kink and cause a blockage, due to the improper way of installing the hoses and the filter unit at the sub tank side. Therefore, there is a potential problem that the fuel in the sub tank is not supplied to the main tank. If this problem occurs, the engine will stop and will not restart when the fuel in the main tank is all used up.

The countermeasures of RJ-1564-0 were not appropriate, so some CVTs with worn oil pump vanes were not replaced. If the vehicle with such CVT continues to be driven, the vanes may prematurely wear out, which may cause the oil pump to fail to sustain the right pressure. If this occurs, in the worst case, the oil pump could break, causing the vehicle to stall.

RJ-1904-0

The capacitor inside the control unit of the VSA (Vehicle Stability Assist) might have been damaged at the factory. The damaged capacitor can't sufficiently cancel the electrical noise caused by power voltage fluctuation, and the electrical noise may cause the sensor that measures how far the brake pedal is pressed to malfunction. If this occurs, the brake assist may temporarily engage, and in the worst case, the brake might unexpectedly operate without the braking lights illuminated.

The grease on the contact points inside the ignition switch is not of the right type, and therefore, when the ignition switch is operated slowly, arc discharge duration may become longer, and the temperature of the contact points may rise, which could cause the grease to harden. If this kind of operation is repeated, cuprous oxide is generated on the contact points, and electrical continuity may be lost at the contact points.

The electrical circuit of the rear windscreen wiper motor is not appropriate, and therefore, when the wiper is activated while the wiper blade is frozen, induced electromotive force occurs, and this may cause the capacitor in the circuit to be damaged and short-circuited. If this problem is left unattended, in the worst case, the capacitor may catch fire, and the fire could spread to the plastic parts of the tailgate.

RJ-1720-0

For the oil pump that supplies oil to CVT, the pump body and the rotor may interfere with each other from pump pressure, due to improper processing of the pump body surface. If this problem is left unattended, the surfaces of the rotor and the pump body may adhere together, and in the worst case, the pump may break, which would cause the vehicle to stall.

RJ-1564-0

A glitch in the computer program for the CVT may cause the oil pump, which puts hydraulic pressure to the CVT, to increase the pressure at low engine revolutions, in which case the oil pump vanes may wear. If this problem is left unattended, the vanes may be worn out prematurely, which will cause the oil pump to fail to sustain the right pressure, and in the worst case, the oil pump could break, causing the vehicle to stall.
