RJ-2268-0

For front suspension systems of certain 2WD vehicles, (1) the torque of the bolts securing the lower arms and the lower arm ball joints may not be sufficient, due to improper installation. If this problem is left unattended, the bolts may loosen, and in the worst case, they may break and cause the vehicle to stall. (2) for vehicles on which RJ-1821-0 measure was carried out, the the torque of the bolts securing the lower arms and the lower arm ball joints may not be sufficient, due to the improper replacement method done for RJ-1821-0.

RJ-1323-2

The knuckle arm of the steering unit does not have sufficient strength, and frequent operations that put a high level of stress on the steering unit such as dry steering over a long time can cause it to crack. If the vehicle continues to be driven with the cracked knuckle arm, in the worst case, the knuckle arm could break, making steering impossible.

RJ-1323-1

The ball joint connecting the drag link and the knuckle arm of the steering unit does not have sufficient strength, and frequent operations that put a high level of stress on the steering unit such as dry steering over a long time can cause its tapered part to crack. If the vehicle continues to be driven with the cracked ball joint, in the worst case, the tapered part could break, making steering impossible.

RJ-1088-0

The spare tyre carrier bracket can crack from vibration during driving due to the improper installation of the bracket, which was moved from the original place. If this problem is left unattended, in the worst case, the bracket can break and fall off with the spare tyre, which could cause a hazard to other traffic.

RJ-1007-0

On certain vehicles, the amount of oil in the differential is not sufficient from when shipping, and therefore, the differential can burn out, which in the worst case could cause the wheels to be locked while traveling.

RJ-0899-0

For the air heater, which is to improve engine start performance at a low temperature, (1) the air heater relay does not have sufficient waterproofing and rustproofing, or (2) the air heater relay does not have sufficient waterproofing and rustproofing, and there is a glitch in the computer program that controls the air heater. If left unfixed, it may occur that the air heater relay is constantly on, and in the worst case, the air heater overheats, which could burn the surrounding electrical wiring and result in a fire.

RJ-0514-2

On certain vehicles, the radiator cap installed on the engine (near the cylinder head) is defective in manufacturing, and therefore, the radiator cap can break due to engine vibration and cause coolant to leak, and in the worst case, the engine could overheat.

RJ-0514-1

For vehicles with manual transmission, the locknut securing the centre brake drum can become loose due to the improper installation structure of the parking brake device. If this problem is left unattended, in the worst case, the transmission main shaft could break causing the vehicle to stall.

RJ-0453-0

For vehicles with the wheelbase of 2810mm (The related recall RJ-0452-0 states the wheelbase is 2180mm), the propeller shaft may vibrate abnormally at the top speed range because the structure of the power train is improper. At worst, the propeller shaft could break causing the vehicle to stall. Incidentally, the factory approved replacement (RJ-0452-0, issued on 6 September 1995) of replacing the propeller shaft with a new one and adjusting the fuel injection pump to decrease the maximum speed was carried out on 208 vehicles.

RJ-0452-0

For vehicles with the wheelbase of 2180mm (The related recall [RJ-0453-0] states the wheelbase is 2810mm), the propeller shaft may vibrate abnormally at the top speed range because the structure of the power train is improper. At worst, the propeller shaft could break causing the vehicle to stall.
