The oil cooler hose for the CVT of certain vehicles may crack from the inside due to improper manufacturing process. If this problem is left unattended, the cracks may progress to the outer surface because of the inner pressure of the hose. If this occurs, there will be an oil leak, and in the worst case, the vehicle would stall.

For the flat cable inside the steering roll connector of certain vehicles, chemical stress cracks may appear on the surface due to the grease applied at factory, whose quality was not consistent. If this problem is left unattended, a contact failure may occur, in which case the driver's airbag and/or the horn could fail to operate properly.

For 5 speed manual transmission vehicles with turbo chargers, the timing belt tensioner bracket does not have sufficient hardness, and therefore, the vibration of the timing belt may increase. As a result of it, the teeth of the crank sprocket may fail to engage the belt evenly, and the belt may be damaged. If this problem is left unattended, the engine might stall and fail to restart.

The fulcrums of the open/close levers of the rear door outer handles may not be caulked properly, and these levers may not go back to the right position when the door is closed, in which case the latches will not be fully secured. Such unsecured latches may separate from the strikers due to vibration during driving etc., and in the worst case the doors could open while driving. This problem was submitted on 6the July 2005 as RJ-1462-0, but not all the vehicles with the problem were reported at the time.
